The short version

ASTRO collects no data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no game server.

What stays on your device

• Your save file, settings, and lifetime run record are stored only on your device and never leave it.
• Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What we never do

• No personal information is collected, transmitted, or sold.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are included.
• No network connection is required to play.

In-app purchases

In-app purchases, currently the one-time “Unlock More Sectors” purchase, are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details or Apple ID. Apple confirms a purchase to the game on your device, and the game remembers what you own on your device only, so it still works offline. We keep no purchase records.

Diagnostics you choose to send

The in-game settings screen has a “Copy Diagnostics” button. It puts a small text snapshot (game version, run seed, position) on your clipboard. It is only ever shared if you paste it into an email to us yourself.

Beta testing

If you join the TestFlight beta, Apple provides us with crash reports and any feedback you submit through TestFlight, under Apple's privacy terms.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Astro Rogue adds features that use data (for example online play, accounts, or new kinds of purchases), we will update this page before that version is released and change the “Last updated” date above. This policy always describes the current version of the game.
